TECHNICAL FAQs

The app is not launching.

If you have an Iphone, the app might not be launching if the ring/silent button on the side of your phone is switched off.

The data connection in front of the Eisenhower Auditorium is not optimal, so please connect to the WiFi network “CPA-patio” with the password “welcome!” before launching the app.

I downloaded the app but I do not hear any sound.

Make sure the sound on your phone is turned on. If you have an Iphone, you might not be hearing sound if your ring/silent button on the side of your phone is switched off.

I am at the starting point but I only keep hearing the instruction that I should go to the starting point.

If you do not get past the instructions screen and audio when you are at the starting point, it is likely caused by one of the two reasons below:

  1. you have not allowed location services when you downloaded the app. Make sure to enable location services while using the app.
  1. You are at the wrong location. Please make sure to go to the plaza in front of the Eisenhower Auditorium.

Why do I need to turn on location services?

The app triggers the content based on where you are, and in order to do that the app needs to be able to read your location.

I am experiencing technical issues.

200 ACRES is experienced through a new custom built app. We have done what we can to make it as smooth as possible, but because it is new software you may run into some issues we didn't know about before. It's very helpful if in this case you can report to us what happened and at what point in the experience through this contact form. We appreciate it!
