WHEN TO GO

We recommend doing the walk between sunrise and sunset. Once you have downloaded the app, you can experience 200 ACRES whenever you want within those hours.

The experience takes about 60 minutes. You will walk approximately 1.25 mile, including grass, pavement, gravel and natural soil.

The walk begins at the Eisenhower Auditorium and ends in the Arboretum. From the ending point of the walk, it takes 15 minutes
to walk back to the Eisenhower Auditorium.

We recommend doing the walk in the morning, or between late afternoon and sunset, when often the sunlight beautifully changes.

READY TO EXPERIENCE 200 ACRES?

When you are ready to experience the soundwalk, go to the plaza in front of the Eisenhower Auditorium at the Center for the Performing Arts at Penn State:

Eisenhower Auditorium
102 Eisenhower Rd
State College, PA 16801

The experience starts on the plaza right in front of the auditorium.

The data connection in front of the Eisenhower Auditorium is not optimal, so please connect to the WiFi network “CPA-patio” with the password “welcome!” before launching the app.

Once you get to the plaza, open the app and let yourself be guided from there.
